About me
My left pinky is slightly shorter than my right, I have allergies to most of nature but joke's on them because I hardly go outside, and my favorite shrimp is a tie between Mantis and Jumbo.
I enjoy mostly urban photography, although rural photography is just as pleasant. I usually look for interesting lighting and striking/interesting subjects. Although composition is important, I'll take a poorly composed, well lit/interesting photo over a well composed dull and obscure one. I mostly take pictures with the school's Canon Rebel, although I have taken a few with my phone's horrible camera to little success. I have used iPhoto's editing software, but I much prefer to use Adobe Photoshop to enhance my work. I try not to edit too much, but sometimes it is useful to remove unwanted objects from a particularly nice piece.
One photographer I've found takes fantastic urban photos, not of gritty, dark, and depressing scenes like most urban photographers, one Thomas Birke photographs man-made splendor and inspiring feats of human intelligence. His portfolio can be found here.

Another site to check out is my Pinterest account. I've made a couple of boards and have pinned to it some photos that I've found compelling for some reason or another. There's one for Urban Photography and another for Nature Photography; pick your poison.
